Blasphemy against the holy spirit is honored

Views expressed do not necessarily represent those of University Bible Fellowship

To blasphemy against the Son of Man is forgivable

Jesus as a human being knew he would be slandered and mistreated but forgave those who mistreated him

To blasphemy against the holy spirit is not forgivable

Jesus taught God's moral principles.  People who disregarded this truth would continue to face the harsh reality of the consequences of choices based on a false foundation, even if they could be forgiven this could not erase the continued consequences of their ongoing bad choices based on a false sense of reality.

Jesus was persecuted for doing what was right.  When we live to give and receive honor to and from our superiors even if it means moral wrongdoing we can not do the will of God.  Society praised many wicked things and to always do what is right does not always result in honor.  Sometimes the only way to receive honor is to do what is wrong.

The curse of knowledge

Articles here do not necessarily represent official UBF teaching or any other UBF member or ex members point of view

People might wonder how I could have stayed in UBF all those years?  How could I have believed something so stupid for so long?

The honest truth is I never believed it, I simply assumed the people meant something intelligent

Whenever they talked about the Bible teaching to obey people, I simply assumed they meant the Bible teaches to obey certain people unless ______.  But they actually meant the Bible teaches to obey certain people no matter what.
